Designing an Identity System for New Atlanta Stadium.

On March 7, 2013 the Atlanta Falcons and the city of Atlanta announced a partnership to build a new state of the art sports and entertainment venue that would be home to the Atlanta Falcons (NFL), Atlanta United (MLS) and a wide variety of events including the SEC Championship Game and Chick-fil-A Bowl, as well as other marquee events like the NCAA Men’s Final Four, College Football Playoff National Championship game, Super Bowl and FIFA World Cup.

 

 

Challenge

Reimagine the Stadium experience. Develop an identity system for the new state-of-the art sports and entertainment venue that will serve as the visual identifier across various marketing and sales initiatives for New Atlanta Stadium, until a naming rights partners was secured.

Solution

A modern recognizable icon that leverages the iconic architecture of the stadium.
